I profess⁴³ myself to be a worshipper of Hormazd,⁴⁴ follower in accordance with the religion revealed by (the prophet) Zarathushtra,⁴⁵  abstainer from (the malpractices of) dãevas⁴⁶and follower of the doctrines of Ahura Mazda⁴⁷

During the time¹¹ of Holy⁹ and pure¹⁰ Havan⁸

yasnãicha¹² vahmãicha¹³ khshnaothrãicha¹⁴ frasastayaecha,¹⁵

for his worship¹², veneration¹³, propitiation¹⁴ and ---glorification,¹⁵ 

sâvanghêe¹⁶ vîsyâicha¹⁷ ashaone¹⁸ ashahe¹⁹ rathwe²⁰, 

During the of Holy1⁹ and pure¹⁸ time²⁰  in which the the work of Savanghi16 (i.e. business of gaining profit) and of Visya¹⁷ (i.e. lord of the clans) go on for the pleasure³² of the lord Ahura Mazda

for his worship²¹, veneration²², propitiation²³ and ---glorification,²⁴

of thousand ears²⁷, 
of ten thousand eyes²⁸, 
(and a Yazata) of the spoken name²⁹, (and) of Ram Khvastar³¹, 

yasnãicha³³ vahmãicha³⁴ khshnaothrãicha³⁵ frasastayaecha,³⁶

for (their) worship³³, veneration³⁴, propitiation³⁵ and ---glorification,³⁶

yathã Ahu Vairyõ zaotã⁶⁰  frã-me⁶¹ mrute,⁶² athã ratush ashãt chit hacha⁶³ frã ashava⁶⁴ vidhvão⁶⁵ mraotu.⁶⁶ 

let the Zaotar⁶⁰ (officiating priest⁶⁰)recite⁶² to me⁶¹ (also means speak loudly,  speak in a loud tone).the (the excellences of the sacred verses of) Yathã Ahu Vairyõ⁵⁹  (** translation Ahunavar)Let (Rãspi the assistant priest who is) righteous⁶⁴ and learned⁶⁵ recite⁶⁶ (the excellences of such verses)

Ahurem mazdãm¹ ashavanem² ashahe³ ratûm⁴ ýazamaide⁵;

We praise⁵ Ahura Mazda¹, the holy² Lord⁴ of righteousness³ ,

zarathushtrem⁶ ashavanem⁷ ashahe⁸ ratûm⁹ ýazamaide¹⁰;

We also praise¹⁰ Zarathushtra⁶, the holy⁷ Lord⁹ of righteousness⁸

zarathushtrahe¹¹ ashaonô¹² fravashîm¹³ ýazamaide¹⁴;

We revere¹⁴ the fravashi¹³ of the holy¹² Zaratthushtra¹³ , 

ameshê speñtê¹⁵ ashaonãm¹⁶ ýazamaide¹⁷.

We praise¹⁷ the holy^16,18 bountiful immortals¹⁵ 
(or we praise the bountiful immortals who protect the righteous persons (Mills))

We worship²³ the good¹⁹ heroic²⁰ and benefic²¹ fravashis²² of the righteous¹⁸.

astvatô²⁴ manakhyâcha²⁵ apanôtemem²⁶ rathwãm²⁷ ýazamaide²⁸

We praise²⁸ the highest²⁶ (lord)  amongst the lords²⁷ of the corporeal (world)²⁴ and of the spiritual (world)²⁵ 

ýaêtushtemem²⁹ ýazatanãm³⁰ hanghanushtemem³¹ ashahe³² rathwãm³³ aiwinasãstemem,³⁴

We praise⁴⁰ the most helpful²⁹ of the yazatas³⁰ (and) the most worthy³¹ amongst the lords³³ of  righteousness³² (and) most reaching  effective for help³⁴ 

jaghmûshtemãm³⁵ ashaonô³⁶ ashahe³⁷ rathwô³⁸ ratufritîm³⁹ ýazamaide⁴⁰!

and the well timed³⁸ prayer³⁹ the most helpful³⁵ for the holy³⁶ lord³⁵ holiness³⁷.

We praise¹⁰ Khordad⁶, the holy⁷ lord⁹ of holiness⁸

ameretatâtem¹¹ ashavanem¹² ashahe¹³ ratûm¹⁴ ýazamaide¹⁵,

 we praise¹⁵ Amardad¹¹ the holy¹² lord¹⁴ of holiness¹³

âhûirîm¹⁶ frashnem¹⁷ ashavanem¹⁸ ashahe¹⁹ ratûm²⁰ ýazamaide²¹,

 We praise²¹ the word¹⁷ to Ahura¹⁶ Mazda the pious¹⁸ lord²⁰ of holiness^19
(we praise those questions and answers exchanged between Ahura Mazda and Zarathustra)

We praise²⁷ the religion²³ pertaining to Ahura²² Mazda the pious²⁴ lord²⁶ of holiness²⁵

ýasnem²⁸ sûrem²⁹ haptanghâitîm³⁰ ashavanem³¹ ashahe³² ratûm³³ ýazamaide³⁴.

we praise³⁴ yasna²⁸ haptanghaiti³⁰ eficacious²⁹ (and) holy³¹ lord³³ of holiness³² (i.e. Haptan Yasht (vadi) large, where in the description of the seven boundiful immortals is given.)

We praise⁶ Savanghe¹ and Visya², the holy³ lord⁵ of holiness⁴, 

airyamanem⁷ ishîm⁸ ashavanem⁹ ashahe¹⁰ ratûm¹¹ ýazamaide¹²,

We praise¹² (the prayer called)  Airyamana7, the liked⁸ (lovable) the holy⁹ lord¹¹ of holiness¹⁰ 

amavañtem¹³ verethrâjanem¹⁴ vitbaêshanghem¹⁵

(which prayer is),  powerful¹³, victorious¹⁴, keeping away from hatred¹⁵ 

vîspa¹⁶ tbaêshåo¹⁷ taurvayañtem¹⁸
vîspa¹⁹ tbaêshåo²⁰ titareñtem²¹;

(and) overcoming¹⁸, 
removing²¹  
all^16,19 afflictions^18,21.

Which^22,24,26 (i.e. prayer called Airyamana) is the uppermost²³ (beginning) the middle²⁵ and the concluding²⁷ (portion)
on the holy spell²⁹ of five³¹ Gathas³² for invoking help²⁸, (i.e. the prayer called Airyamana is the best amongst the holy spells of five Gathas).

We worship¹⁴ Meher Yazata¹, of wide pastures², we worship⁵ Ram Khvastar⁴, 

 vîsyehe⁶ rathwô⁷ ýasnâicha⁸ vahmâicha⁹, vîsîmcha¹⁰ ashavanem¹¹ ashahe¹² ratûm¹³ ýazamaide¹⁴.

In order to worship⁸ and praise⁹ the Lord⁷ Visya⁶, (i.e. pertaining to clan)  we revere¹⁴ the holy¹¹ Visya¹⁰, the lord¹³ of righteousness¹².

the worshipful one of the renowned name²⁹, (and) we worship Ram Khvastar³¹,

the purifier⁴ (of all things) 
pertaining to Ahura Mazda,³

hadha-zaothrem⁹ hadha-aiwyånghanem¹⁰, imat¹¹ baresma¹² ashaya¹³ frastaretem¹⁴, ashavanem¹⁵ 

 

We revere this¹¹ Baresman¹² (which) together with the libations⁹ (and) together with the Aiwyaongha¹⁰ (is) spread¹⁴ with holines¹⁵ ; 

 

ashahe¹⁶ ratûm¹⁷ ýazamaide¹⁸; 

 

we also revere¹⁸ the Lord¹⁷ of righteousness¹⁶.

 

Apãm¹⁹ Naptârem²⁰ ýazamaide²¹,

 

 We revere³¹ the Navel²⁰ of waters¹⁹; 

Nairîm²² Sanghem²² ýazamaide²³

we revere²³ (the Fire) Neryosang²³ 

 

 takhmem²⁴ dâmôish upamanem²⁵ ýazatem²⁶ ýazamaide²⁷; 

 

We revere²⁷  the powerful²⁴ 
Yazata²⁶  (named) Dami Upamana;²⁵. 

iristanãm²⁸ urvãnô²⁹ ýazamaide³⁰, ýåo³¹ ashaonãm³² fravashayô³³, 

 

 We worship³⁰ the souls²⁹ of the departed²⁸ who³¹ are the Fravashis³³ of the Righteous (people)³².

who⁴ ( is)  Ahura Mazda⁵,

ýô⁹ ashahe¹⁰ jakhmûshtemô¹¹, 

(and) who⁹ is most helpful¹¹ in righteousness¹⁰.  

vîspa¹² sravåo¹³ Zarathushtri¹⁴ ýazamaide;¹⁵

We revere¹⁵ all¹² the sacred verses¹³ of (he prophet) Zarathushtra¹⁴, 

vîspacha¹⁶ hvarshta¹⁷ shyaothna¹⁸ ýazamaide,¹⁹

and all¹⁶ well-performed¹⁷ deeds¹⁸ (religious ceremonies) 

 

 varshtacha²⁰ vareshyamnacha²¹.

 

which  have been performed²⁰ and shall be performed hereafter²¹.

Among the living beings¹³ whoever¹² (is)

ãat¹⁴ yesne¹⁵ paiti¹⁶ vanghõ¹⁷

better¹⁷ in acts of worship,^15-16

Mazdão¹⁸ Ahuro¹⁸ vaethã¹⁹

of which¹² Ahura Mazda¹⁸ (Himself) is aware,¹⁹

on account²¹ of His holiness²⁰,
